Have a dear friend from out of town that will be hosting a dinner for 40 people downtown in a couple months(on the Riverwalk is a bonus). Looking for recommendations. Bohanon's's was the first one that came to mind. She is asking if Biga on the Bank is still good.

Any other recommendations?

Might want to check out Texas de Brazil. It's a block or two down from Bohanon's. My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there five years ago and it was great. If I recall, we had probably 30-35 people and we had plenty of room in a private room of theirs. It's pricy but if Bohanon's is being considered it shouldn't be a problem.

I've never been for an event, but the Maverick has a separate party room with its own entrance. Not on the Riverwalk, though.
