I will be spending time in San Antonio this week beginning tonight. Are there any areas to avoid that are anticipating violence or protests? TIA

Avoid The Alamo and Police HQ.

Just about any other normal area should be fine.

I really don't expect anything. The first night of the BLM protests was an anomaly for San Antonio and wasn't repeated.

We'll see though.

If you're on the Riverwalk, stick to it and you'll be just fine.

According to multiple social media accounts, downtown is looking like a scene from the purge with everything being boarded up. I see where the trump supporters are already downtown with flags flying and horns blaring. Whatever you do, stay safe.
