My daughter has to go back to college today (TAMU-SA) does anyone know the conditions on 410 South and I-37?

Where is she now? Looks like most of 410 is shut down.

For people traveling to the west I-10 is touch and go up until Kerrville. Beyond that 80 mile an hour cruising.

The highways are closed but honestly the roads are not that bad. I was able to drive around a fair amount yesterday with no issues. There's some ice on bridges, as long as it's flat just go slow and roll across. Try to time it up so that you're not close to other cars on the worst spots.

The access road intersection of 281 and 1604 is the worst spot I've come across. They've put down sand/gravel on some of the busier slopes which helps a lot.

Anyone know if the roads are opening back up? I'm trying to drive back from Corpus.

I was only on I10 for a bit but it was ok. I would be extremely careful if you do come back. Also, leave sooner rather than later with more bad weather rolling in tonight.
