Looking to buy a home soon on the NW side of town. Looking for recommendations on a good home inspector and for any other services I'll need for this process (is my first time buying). Already have a realtor but that's it. Will be paying cash.

He charged us, if I recall correctly, like $400, but he did a very comprehensive check... the home I was purchasing was about 20 years old and in AMAZING condition (supremely rare kept up), and he even found little stuff to let me know about, and of course 1-2 'bigger' concern items like a little rust on a valve on the water heater and the dryer-duct in attic leading to roof was a little crooked (someone bumped into it, it needed straightening). Small stuff, but kinda told me that he does notice everything and isn't just mailing in an easy job for good pay.
