What is the dove outlook this year with the drought?

I think I am about to start netting them here in Alamo Heights. SOBs here are fat from all the free food, but dot see many outside of town.

Parks and wildlife report good counts of birds, hunt over water until the next gully washer happens.

if you dont mind day hunts check out the G2 ranch in pearsall......they typically have several circles planted and have piles of birds.

Back in the day we used to hunt on the other side of the fence from the Randolph AFB runway. And in a field over by Park Village Elementary School. Always had lots of birds. I'm sure both areas are houses now.

Probably outlaw hunting actually, but the GW and SAPD would come by but they didn't care.
