My wife has an important birthday coming up next week and wants to spend it in San Antonio. I am looking for recommendations for Wednesday, 12/28. We are staying south of I-10 between 35 and 37 but can go to any part of town. Thanks in advance.

bohannan is the best steak house downtown. J Prime is great.
I hear the french restaurant is great. Brasserie mon chou chou.
For lunch or different meal, I love Dough. Great High end Italian pizzeria. THe burrata is truly amazing.

Bliss is always a good option for high end special occasions.

Rebelle (downtown inside the St. Anthony hotel) for seafood
Battalion (southtown) for Italian
Clementine (castle hills) they have a little bit of everything for proteins, Chef Russ is from NOLA, so on occasion he will throw in some fun things on the menu on any given night.
Mon Chou Chou is also great in the Pearl, Tardiffs is another French Brasserie up on I-10 near the dominion and fair oaks.
For more casual and laid back we also like Hot Joy and Little Em's Oyster Bar.
