In the market as well....if you already know if the PCPs are accepting new patients would like to know that as well.

My wife's PCP retired last June. Wife went concierge because couldn't find a good Dr.
Has worked very well for her.

Look up Jennifer Skinner (husband PA Barton Skinner).

Office off San Pedro so you don't have to mess w/ Med Center. They also do in-home visits a couple days of the week.

Health Texas in the HEB shopping center at Evans & 281. Easy in and out. Dr. Powell doesn't yell at me because I am fat.

Larry Baros in Stone Oak off of Stone Parkway. Wife and I are both in our late 30's and enjoy going to him. Thorough and great bedside manner.

Aaron King, MD. Heard his office is only taking if referred from current patients. Tell them BBGigem sent you.

I'm very pleased with Larry Baros. He and his brother Jimmy practice together in Stone Oak. First visits are usually VERY thorough and no stones are left unturned. Larry isn't afraid to refer you or send you for tests or screenings if they're absolutely needed.

Are they still doing concierge only? I loved them but moved elsewhere when they changed

I did the same, but i heard they do both. I haven't had a primary in a while so might be worth going back if needed.

They told me that they would accept by BCBS insurance. I was asked what insurance I have so they may have a finite list of insurance providers that they accept.

Then I bet they don't take Medicare.
It is embarrassing and outrageous how little Medicare pays Drs.

I'm with Blue Cross and they accept my insurance.

The Cigna app shows they are in network. I might have to switch back. I always appreciated their bedside manner and EKG every physical.

I made need to suck it up and travel but curious if anyone has a GP they love near Helotes or west?

I was a blissfully happy patient of Dr. Juanita Sprute but she went concierge. I have MS so my first treatment of the year takes me to max out of pocket ($6k) and I hate to go then pay another $1800 per year for a GP plus do the same for my husband. But I totally don't blame these docs for going that direction.
