Does anyone know of a Muster at Ali Al Salem? I've looked on the Muster website and haven't seen anything yet. Thanks.

Yep, 130. Agreed all I need is two, just didn't want to step on anyone's toes that may already be planning one that just didn't make it on to the website yet. Got an Intel guy here thats a fellow AG and he and I are gonna start working on it.

I don't think you can ever step on someone's toes in this case. You might want to post a flier in the DFac just to catch the Ags in tent city. Is that even still there????

I'm at TRAB...been here about 2 years as the CE Environmental Manager (former Army, now civilian). I tried to do a muster here last year. Even managed to get the command to authorize a basewide email, etc. Never heard a peep.

I have heard rumor of an Aggie pilot that may be rotating in here soon. I will have to see if that is so and maybe try again?

Where's TRAB?

At the risk of sounding like some kind of secret squirrel, TRAB is currently an "undisclosed location in Southwest Asia". I'm sure there are many folks at AAS who could fill you in.

I just found my second Aggie here at my location! He had noticed the aTm flag on the wall in my office and stopped by to meet me...Class of '12--reservist heavy equipment operator from Big Sandy. Anyway, I have reason to do some planning and we shall see who else we can scare up.

I need an opinion though as I've only attended CONUS musters. Would it be better to do this somewhere private (DFAC DV Room, Chapel, etc)? Or in front of everyone(DFAC/Rec Tent, etc.)? I'm not averse to attracting a crowd, but aside from camradery--the event is also a commemoration of those we've lost.

Thoughts?

I hope not. A few seconds with google found it, one of which was an unclass powerpoint with a request for contractors for base services.

When we did it at Bagram we used a room in the DFAC that they set aside for us. I don't think it really matters where it takes place. I'm sure Green Beans Coffee would work fine. Good luck.
