Immediately moving back to the scene of the initial blast with out regards to ones own safety, and not being sure of secondary devices deserves some credibility. All to help complete strangers!

Credibility, yes. Heroics, no.

Let me ask you this - what would your reaction have been if uniformed service members had been present and not moved to assist at the site of the blast?

I think too often people confuse doing ones job with heroics; they are not the same.
