I wanted to pass on some sad news of a class and outfit mate of mine who just passed away last Thursday from brain cancer at the young age of 53. Alan Marks was the Class of 82 and a member of the Corps of Cadets Company D-1 (Devil D). I spread this word on premium is because his daughter Katie who played one year of college softball at South Carolina (pitcher) has transferred to A&M on a hardship and is now a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie softball team. I will certainly be following the softball team with a little more attention the next coming seasons. She will certainly appreciate all the love and words of encouragement from us Ag’s after just losing her father and now must go on without his physical presence.
