It will be Military Appreciation Day at Kyle Field, and Game Day For Heroes will be setting up next to the Veteran Affairs tailgate in Spence Park to offer some food and drinks for Veterans attending the game.
Game Day For Heroes is a not-for-profit organization that helps wounded, active-duty and veteran military personnel and their family attend college sporting events across the nation. However, the tickets that we hand out are limited to the amount of tickets that are donated. If you have extra tickets for the UTEP game, I encourage you to consider donating them to Game Day For Heroes.
To donate tickets or, if you are a Veteran and would like to request tickets for the game visit www.gamedayforheroes.org.
We will be setting up in the north west corner of Spence Park and will have free food and drinks provided by Raising Canes and Kristen Distributing. Feel free to come by and hang out!
