I was asked to speak to my granddaughter's class several times when they honored veterans. I was invariably asked if I shot anyone. I was in the Mekong Delta, in an engineering unit. I told them that we had superior manpower, firepower and air superiority. If we saw them, they were dead. We had snipers and sappers, but we never saw them. If I had these photos, they would understand....and they didn't even see this guy.

Thats what it looks like in Afghanistan too. If they pin a bad guy down it looks like lava rolling down the hill from all the .50 tracers.
