Why would the Band move from the Adams building and the drill field?????

Or is this due to remodeling?

The south end of the 4th stoop of 11 used to be the rehersal space. The rooms in that area are different due to being filled in long after the rest of the rooms.

The Aggie Band no longer rehearses as a whole in the Band Hall due to fire code. The current plan is to build a new band hall and turf drill field on Duncan field. The project is currently awaiting approval of funds.

Took part in many a water balloon fights with BQ's. Launched balloons out of our Dorm 12 4th stoop windows with surgical tube slingshots over Duncan. Also was a part of and led raiding parties with water buckets and TP to ****** unsuspecting BQ holes that left their windows open. They never learned.

That would be considered a felony offense today.

Half the fun we had in the Corps "back in the day" would get us arrested now.

Looked just like my era. Wish I had stolen/kept my white pot. Had to laugh at the waiters running for their lives. There was a shot of the CB Cdr for a minute there. I remember all the yellow stripes on the pots. Great movie, good memories. 6 years later the Quad, the doors inside Dorm 11, the BQ drill field, etc., all pretty much looked the same way.

The water hose at the end was a good touch. We would have done that. LOL.

Big todo in 46 when somebody stole benches ( senior priviledge to sit on )from dorm 10 to dorm 11.

At least 500 Corpsmen rushed to retrieve them and 500 rushed to retain them !

I watched from 4th floor of dorm 10 amazed at the folly of it all. Don't think anybody got hurt .

Of course our favorite...coming back from Sparky's or the "Hall of Shame" after consuming copious amounts of adult beverages, spinning the Bugle Stand Megaphone around towards the Q's Dorm and yelling in unison.. "BQ's Change Partners".. then running like hell when the hoards of fish came out to confront us.... Fun times.. (77- 80).
