Is there going to be a Corps Trip to the Dallas/Ft Worth area this year?

We have two games in the MetroPlex, seems like we should have at least one.

The Corps is going to have a Corps Trip and march into Ft Worth for the A&M - Arkansas game which will be played at Cowboys Stadium on 27 September. My intent is to also have the entire Corps attend the game, assuming we can get the support of the former students to hep offset the cost of the tickets for the cadets.

Plan for now is for the Corps to conduct the march-in to Ft Worth the morning of 27 Sep, and then go to the game, which we hope will be that afternoon (game time has not been set yet). We have already done the coordination with the city of Ft Worth, and will march right downtown - just as we used to do so back in the old SWC days when we played TCU.

Since we will play Arkansas in Arlington for the next several years, my plan is to rotate the march-in between Ft Worth and Dallas each year.

I hope this answers your question. We hope to bring back Corps Trips again, and now that we are playing games in Arlington and Houston, we will do our best to march the Corps into as many cities in Texas as we can.
