I was hoping to get an idea of housing options near Nellis AFB and curious as to whether many people choose to live on or off base? Also, if living off base, do you prefer studios or larger units? Any thoughts on apartments near there?

a friend from HS is based at Creech - I asked and most apartments will run around $700 to start for the smaller apartments. You might be able to find a townhome for around 800-1200.
