Yesterday, I watched the documentary Korengal on the plane from Sydney to Los Angeles (United Airlines).
I haven't seen the movie Restrepo (on my list of things to do) but I understand this movie profiles the same Infrantry Company as Restrepo. In fact, I guess it's sort of a follow-up.
It's a fairly raw look at the soldiers and their missions. A lot of the interviews appear to be done after guys have gotten out of the Army or at least returned stateside. It's interesting how many of them say they would love to go back - not for the mission or to help the Afghanis but, to be with their brothers.
If you're looking for a current military movie, it's worth a look.
There's one part in the movie where one of the guys is talking about how everybody has their favorite weapon and that he's a .50 cal guy. Me too. Definitely my favorite.
