Well Friday was my retirement ceremony/dinner after a 30-year AF career; I was humbled and overwhelmed by all that attended my send off. They had an American flag flown over the US Capital in my honor on the July 4th and a Texas flag flown over the Texas Capital on Jul 4th also. A highlight was finding out that the 'none Aggie' retirement committee understanding my love of Aggieland had my Texas flag was also flown over the Sanders Corps of Cadets Center on Aug 5th! Whoop! and Gig'em Ags!

Congratulations! The standard naval blessing is fair winds and following seas but I'm not sure of the Air Force equivalent. Is it full tanks and stay above stall speed?

Congrats! Just retired after 22 years in the Air Force and I am loving life.
