Are National Guard or Reserves cadets considered veterans and thus able to join Delta Co. or V-1?

We have MANY National Guard and Reserve cadets in the Corps. IF they have deployed to Iraq and/or Afghanistan, they can be in D Co. IF they are married, they can be in V-1. Otherwise, they are assigned to regular Corps outfits like any other cadets. They are always given the time to attend monthly drills while they are in the National Guard or Reserves.
