Ags, this is cross-posted between Military and Aggies Only. I teach a US History class at a community college as an adjunct instructor, and one of my assignments is an oral history project where my class must interview a veteran (record the interview) and submit it to the college for public knowledge. I've spent quite a lot of time in class discussing the Cold War, the 1960s, and the conflict in Vietnam, so I've told them that I prefer their interview to be with a Vietnam vet, preferably in the Dallas area. If you or anyone you know help a student or two, it would be much appreciated. Thanks, and Gig 'Em!

I live in Fredericksburg, but have family in the Dallas area. I'm class of '65 and served in field artillery in Vietnam in 1967 with the 2-4FA, 9th Infantry Division. I have also spoken about the Vietnam experience on several occasions at the LBJ National Historical Park. Depending on your time table, I could come up to Dallas for an interview if you don't get a better offer.
