The Museum of the American G.I. in College Station is finally open. The museum has a fantastic collection of vehicles and uniforms on display, with more items coming soon. The hours are 10:30 -17:30 on Fridays and Saturdays and 12:00 -17:00 on Sundays. The museum is located on South Highway 6 about a 1/4 mile south of Santa's Wonderland. Take the Texas World Speedway exit in either direction, then the southbound service road to the tan museum building. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for kids over 5 years old. WW2 and Korean vets get in free.
