However much cadets are paying, it is way too much. Disgusting.

Basically, nothing has changed since I had a meal plan in the 80s.

We once used the "whipped cream" topping from jello/pudding to cement a tray with plate, cups, bowls, etc. to the bottom of a table.

That's what happens when 2000 people are fed in 20 mins. Food gets put in big heaters to stay hot and the bottom of the food gets cooked to the plate.

Also I've never seen that in my almost 2 years here, not saying the food couldn't be improved but that picture is also stretching it some.

We did the same thing, often w/half full cups of water so when the 'Heads hit the table a few times it would fall off getting their pants wet. Hit our buddies & rival outfits. Always hilarious.

Duncan should be following the Slocum Nutrition Center/Dining Facility. There has always been a weight problem in the Corps, yet Duncan continues to provide unhealthy garbage year after year. Get rid of the soda machines, desert bar, donuts, and fried food and start providing healthy food to feed the machine. Use the RC Slocum dining hall as an example.

You ate what you put on your plate. For example in the morning you would put one serving spoon serving of scrambled eggs on your plate, one piece of sausage, one piece of bread.

You would take one bite, put your silverware back on the table, chew and repeat.

You also were responsible of maintaining the organization of the table.

There was no way you would over eat and get fat. We had no height and weight standards because 87%+ of us were in great shape
