So, it appears if we live out of state, a Vehicle Inspection Report is required to get the registration sticker.

Haven't read all the literature, but it appears this is a change from the past in terms of getting a sticker without traveling back to Texas in order to get a yearly vehicle registration sticker.

Anyone already maneuver through this? I'm going to call the offices on Monday, but curious if I'm missing the easy Google search or FAQs online.

You can do it online. You just have to check the box that states you will get one when you come back to TX.

My inspection sticker is a little over three years expired. I only live 30 miles west of the Sabine and I keep meaning to get a new one but it just ain't happened.
