Short story I'm deploying soon and the tactical/assault bags issued are ****. I'm looking at different manufacturers such as SOC(never had an issue with SOC), fox outdoor etc. I've usually used nylon packs but found a couple using tactical polyester. I googled that type of material and couldn't find the specs. Anyone had any experience with that material? Thanks for the help

You should post this on outdoors too. Some of the hikers and woodsmen on that forum might have some experience with this.

I like packs made by Tactical Tailor. Also what's the specific issue with issue bags? I loved the 3 day ruck I got with my RFI.

First one I was issued the zipper slid off the track. Second one I loaded up a seam on the inside busted. Maybe bad luck I don't know. Gonna go back on Monday to supply. I just had a "**** it" and was going to just get my own.

Look at Tactical Tailor. Highly recommend them. Lots of cool stuff.
