Threat Vector, but he was using a co-author (not even a ghost writer) at this point and it is noticeable.
Check Vince Flynn for another good series (but yet another entertaining author who has passed away).

I got the same answer from someone else, but thanks. As for the co-author, I read one of Clancy's books where a "Co-author" was used and yeah, you can tell.
Oh well. The originals are usually the best.
