I don't know much about Air Force outfits. One of my friends has a son headed that way. Just looking for feedback not wise cracks (if ever possible on TexAgs)! Gig 'em! I was in Spider D (obvious from my handle) & son #2 was in D-2 (Dog Co.; FIDO).
quote:OK, Monty, I deleted the "wise crack" about AF outfits! Any useful feedback?
Used the term "Air Crap" in your post, but aren't interested in any "wise cracks"....

Spider69, I was in Eleven -- it was just reactivated last year. Many of the Old Eleven fighters turned out for the ceremony. I know this year's CO and think very highly of him -- he's my Old Lady's son, so I am a bit biased, but he is very solid all the same.
quote:Thats is a great rebirth! I'd add you need to learn to hang with your buds. My '69 Spider buds are my closest buds to this day! We have had an annual Hawg hunt for the past 17 yrs to relive old days and rebond! Last one was our 50th year since we were fish together.
I'm a current Zip in 11, not to be biased but I'd say we are one of the best overall Air Force outfits. Very good grades, great PT, good drill, etc, and this was from our start up year. We can only build from the good foundation we created.
