I am a cadet looking to contract. However, I have severe food allergies to peanuts and nuts. My first choice for branch would be the Air Force, but I know that I cannot get any sort of waiver for my allergies. However, I have heard that it is easier to get a waiver for on a DoDMERB for food allergies in the Navy, Marines or Army. I am particularly interested in the Navy. Does anyone know about this process or anything I could do to increase my chances of being able to contract with my food allergies?
