Not sure if anyone's already posted this, but I thought it was interesting. Anyone know him?

So, what's your point fish Brown? I did look, but that subject line didn't make an impression.

He was a classmate of mine; Aggie Band Commander 1987

Looks like he's been able to maintain his sharpness. It's amazing how many Marines the Aggie Band has produced. Probably in line with how many the FDT produced too.

In my opinion, he is one of the finest officers of any branch that A&M has ever produced. A downside to his new billet is that he will be advising a political appointee, a species who, by definition, routinely put party ideology above what's best for the nation (CJCS Dunford knows this only too well). And, I guess another downside is that Eric won't be leading Marines, which is his passion. I hope he pins his second star on soon, and that someday he commands a Marine division. Eric doesn't serve for promotions, though... he loves being a Marine, being with Marines, and leading Marines. His success as a cadet in the FTAB was only a hint of things to come.

Unlike my classmate, I have not maintained my level of sharpness. I'm pretty much a hot mess.

Nothing to be ashamed of. Just join the legions of us old BQs who used to be sharp and now resemble a barrel of lard.
