How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anyone know if it's possible to go back in as an officer if I just turned 40. I know enlisted had age limits but didn't know if Officers did. Should I just go to recruiter?

I would definitely talk to a recruiter. But after playing around on the Navy's website, it looks like the cut off age for officers is 39.

There's a waiver for just about everything. If you're wanting to go back in as a SWO, probably not going to happen. If you're looking at joining one of the staff corps (especially I think engineering or medical right now), probably a higher chance. Talk to a recruiter. I personally wouldn't want to have to go through OCS at 40 though. Direct commission though, that's not bad at all.

IIRC some or all of your prior service time will be factored into your age. So if you had 8 years of service and are 40,your age would really be 32. Your nearest officer recruiter will be able to look up specifics for each designator.
