Lest we ever forget. One hell of an important day that was bought and paid for by many sacrifices and lives.
Sad thing is you can ask just about anyone below the age of 40 and they can't tell you a damn thing about it.

I was an Air Force kid who graduated from Wiesbaden HS in 1965. Every single dad was a WWII vet of some sort. My girlfriend's dad had the Medal of Honor. There's not a dang parent left today.
