Heading to the redneck riviera and planning to drink tropical even if the weather isn't quite there yet. Looking for suggestions for a good mixing rum. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Flor De Cana Extra Seco is great for mixing.

I've been using Plantation 3 Stars, good stuff. Though I haven't used it since pool season ended...but soon it will be back in the rotation.

The age stated Havana club is not available in the US market.

The 3 and 7 year are Cuban and embargoed. The Havana Club in the US market is Puerto Rican made by Bacardi

I like a daiquiri made with Hampden Estate. It also works well in a Painkiller.

Nice rum is a pretty good deal right now, I like Pyrat and Diplomatico. Diplomatico has some nice mixing verision and also some aged sipping rums.

For daiquiris I like El Dorado 8. It's good in mojitos too if you don't mind them turning out a little darker.

If you want things to be a little funky from time to time, you could always get you some cachaca.
