Would love to send a brisket to my sister in Boston.
Ready to cook, already cooked, or half-cooked. Would overnight with dry ice.

Anyone done either of these?

I wouldn't send it whole unless she's going to feed a bunch of people. I cook, slice, portion to 1lb vac-sealed bags, then pack in dry ice. Then my parents just have to pull out a bag and drop it in some boiling water for a few minutes. Voila. Fresh bbq.

I lived in that area for about 6 years and would have a whole brisket, several slabs of ribs and sausage sent overnight and reheated with no problems. Everything was vacuum packed and then frozen. Worked out great. It was whole. Nothing was sliced.

Done Snows a couple of times. Just to DFW, but it was great both times.
