I just noticed there is a wine branded for A&M. Has anyone tried it? It says it's at Specs and HEB. Is it some kind of NIL shenanigan?

I think means you should have 12 glasses of something better before trying it.

It's a Spanish Tempranillo from the Ribera Del Duero region. That area can pump out some really good wines for the money. It's probably overpriced, but may be worth trying.

I read the reviews of this wine. They talk about the promising start it has. The color, opacity and viscosity are on point for a top flight wine. To say it passes the eye test is an understatement. In fact, when you first start tasting, you'll be delighted as well. So much so that you'll probably commit to another five cases without regard to the price.

The trouble usually comes on that second or third sip. When you make it to the deeper levels of the tannins, you learn that the off-putting flavors were masked by the earlier flavors. You'll be befuddled because the vinter has sourced the best possible ingredients (and spared no expense in the cost of acquisition) and the wine should be amazing but you're left with tastes of dog **** on your tongue. Unfortunately you've already committed to those five cases and they are non-refundable so you're left to hope that the next bottles are better, but they probably won't be.

You'll soon come to the conclusion that the winery is cursed.
