Just got one at a silent auction but not sure how much I'll use it or if I should just sell it. I got it with some rubs and the tailgate stand for 175 so kinda a no brainer. Those with one, what do you like/dislike about them? For reference, I have a built in kitchen with a BGE, joe jr, power burner, griddle.

I'm thinking it would be a good tailgating/camping option.

I've had my pk since 2016. My folks have the one my grandfather bought in like the 70's or 80's. The heavy cast aluminum is virtually indestructible, just need to replace the grill grates every once in a while. I'll use it to grill burgers, chicken, fish, brats/dogs, veggies, kabobs. Reverse sear steaks and tri-tips and I've smoked a few pork butts.

It sounds like you have a pretty full set up already, you could use it as a tailgate/travel grill but it holds heat for a long time so it might take a while to cool down to transport after.

I suggest you keep it. You might make $100 by flipping it and I guarantee you'll find it useful. Get some Grill Grates and it can become your go-to steak machine.

The PK and the Weber Kettle are 1 and 1A, depending on who you ask, for a good starter grill/cooker that can cook everything from a steak to a brisket, and do it extremely well with some fine tuning. The nice thing about the aluminum body is you don't have to worry about it rusting. I'd keep it.

I don't need a starter grill. But I'm going to keep it.
