Howdy,
Looking to buy 1/4 cow and pig, cut for the freezer.
Maybe even 1/2 cow or pig if the price is right.
Aggierland area, Bryan College Station, Brazos county.
Walk softly and carry a big stick! Make sure the big stick makes big boom noises and flashy bright lights.

pig place in Brookshire. Sign on I10. Picked up a small pig for BBQ.

Look at your local FFA team at the high school. Usually they have an annual auction, and they list where you can get the animals processed. Those places usually also sell what you are looking for.

They are out of Gatesville, but they do deliver……to a point. Good folks, family owned, and some just may have eaten B-1 83 grass. Their beef that I've had (perks of landlord) has been nothing short of fantastic. They've teamed up with some folks on the pork, so one stop shopping.

I bought from them last year, and it was great. I'm definitely a fan, and you can choose grass or grain finished.

Local to the B/CS area, they farm and ranch in several counties. Their website only lists individual cuts but you can reach out and email them about 1/4, 1/2, whole, etc.

Good quality stuff thats consitent.

Sterlin and my dad were the same age. Both would be over 100 now. That's David's daughter I'm pretty sure. He would have been about 80 now.

We've bought from Wild Type Ranch for years now. We have driven out there to pick up or meet the owner when an order and his semi-regular trips to B/CS happen to line up. https://wildtyperanch.com/

Little late to the game, but one of the best ways is to hit up the local isd cattle auction after the kids finish showing their animals. CFISD will do it each spring and it's a way for the kids to make money back from raising the animals. It may not take care of right now but it's a good option in the spring.
