What are your go-to "healthy" snacks. And I understand everyone has a different definition of healthy. Post whatever yours is, but for me, I'm usually looking for something minimally processed and high in some nutrient that's considered healthy. For example, healthy fats, or protein, or fiber, etc. But sometimes I just want something to satisfy a craving so I don't eat something horrible.

Sweet - dark chocolate, dried fruits, or regular fruit
Crunchy - pita chips with hummus (not really that healthy, but perhaps marginally better than potato chips)
Savory? - almonds, pecans, leftover from a prior meal, eggs
Protein - nuts, greek yogurt, jerky, PB&J, string cheese, eggs

Looking for ideas to expand my pantry.

I bought these for the first time a month ago (they are site sponsors), and I was really impressed. Simple ingredients.

I mix fruits/veggies with nuts or whole grains. Berries with chili roasted pistachios or a banana with pecans. I also like Triscuits with those guacamole singles.

I love plain whole milk Greek yogurt and honey. Yes honey=sugar but it satisfies my sweet tooth without eating other junky sweet foods. Plus good protein in greek yogurt.

That's a hard snack to beat. And a little honey goes a long way.

Good options already posted.

Only thing I'll add is if you like a prepackaged snack at the grocery store try to make it.

For example, we like chips. So occasionally my wife will slice sweet potatoes thin, brush with coconut oil, season, and bake.

She'll also make protein bars or balls.

And one of my favorites is homemade granola on yogurt.

I like to mix one serving plain Greek yogurt (170 grams) with one serving vanilla protein powder. Makes a nice pudding. Add some Pbfit and it's even better.

280 calories
49 grams protein
18 grams carbs
3 grams fat

Hard to do much better than that.

Summer sausage with cheese
Motzarella stick wrapped with either a good spicy pepperoni or a procscuitto
Hard boiled egg wrapped with proscuitto
Cucumber slice with some cream cheese and either a dash of cajun style seasoning or cayenne or bacon
Caprese salad with seasoned and spiced olive oil drizzle
Tomato with salt

I like to put cashews into my coconut Greek yogurt for some crunch. Cottage cheese with pineapple and strawberries for something sweet or with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and cracked pepper if your avoiding a lot of fruit. I also like celery sticks with a small amount of pimento cheese. Not super healthy but it helps make me feel full longer to avoid over eating later.

You can actually make chips in microwave.

Learned that during quarantine
