Who makes great chili and what makes it so? I like to use a dark beer and throw in a little pico and jerk seasoning into the chili.

Not caring what other people think about something as trivial as putting beans in chili has had the biggest effect on mine.

Use dried chilis not chili powder.
Put potater salad and chicken breasts in it.........no wait, that's gOmbo .....
