How much are boneless skinless thighs going for in your area? Harris Teeter has them for $5.99 a damn pound while they have had boneless skinless breasts on sale for $2.49/lb for well over a month. Same with Publix.

Interested to see what y'all are finding.

That seems really high. I guess everyone has figured out that legs and thighs are better. If it's any consolation, boning out a chicken thigh is pretty simple, and you can use the skin and bones to make stock.

All you had to say was Harris Teeter. No question, it's a great Bougee grocery store, but their prices are high. And Publix is right there with them.

I miss Texas meat prices. Boneless thighs are currently $6.23 a pound here at my local store in Missouri.

$4.05 is usually HEB natural.
$3.22 looks like Hill Country Fare

Difference is the HCF chicken might still have tattoos

Easiest solution is to forsake chicken for beef.

I buy the big packs of bone in thighs from Sam's or Costco and de-bone/vac seal myself. Currently running around $1.28/lb at Sam's. Allows me to keep some of the skin if I want to grill..

Is see your emoji but HT is owned by Kroger and is pretty cheap on a lot of things. They put their unsold weekend meat on sale and you can get great deals. Just not on the chicken.

I never experienced Harris Teeter until I visited my daughter and her husband (they live in Southern Pines, NC. I really like the store. They finally started shopping elsewhere due to their overall grocery bill. As for Publix, they have them where we live (Tennessee). I like them too...but they too are pretty pricey, even compared to Kroger.

Yeah, the emoji was meant to show I wasn't criticizing as those two grocery chains have some really high prices compared to Kroger.

If you're looking to save $$, buy bone in and skin on, take them down yourself. Nearly 50% the price, or buy quarters and even cheaper.
