So we have nice steak knives in a box that we pull out when we have people over. And I have what I guess you would call standard serrated table knives that came with a henckels set we got when we were married. They have been through the dishwasher for 15 years and the handles are dead.

Anyone have a reco for something to replace those. They are mainly used when a butter knife wont do and also my daughter uses them to cut up cucumbers for her lunch. They will go in the dishwasher, must last 15 years.

Get a set of $35 Victorinox steak knives off Amazon and replace as needed

Agree with poster above. I hand wash my nice knives after every use.

You can probably replace your current butter knives with your current steak knives once you purchase the next victims
