Initially, we used UltimateBB, but quickly ran into issues due to its limitations at the time (1999). We wrote the current system in response to accommodate. Since that time, however, most other BBs have advanced well beyond ours. We've made updates over the years to keep it going, but much of it has been pretty ugly.

We've been making lots of upgrades behind the scenes in the last months, but the system itself if still very proprietary and would not transfer well.

While the software is very antiquated in many aspects, I continue to enjoy the how easy it is to follow linear conversations (not-hierarchical).
