Every time I try to quote someone in a response I get the following when I click 'Submit':

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'

Incorrect syntax near '='.

I haven't tried any other tags but quote and /quote (in brackets) generate this every time.

That's happening because likely you're using a non-standard character somewhere in either your text or in the quoted text. Quotes don't like " or ' or various other things. Just pretend it's 1995 and you're doing some programming and don't include anything other than basic characters. Their machines can't handle "special" ones.
