Are there any plans to make a Texags app?

I like the mobile website functionality. I'd probably be happy with that layout packaged in an App. Forums and access to podcasts etc. is a must, of course.
Just curious, but what would be the benefit of it being in an app vs a mobile site?
If you go to mobile.texags.com, you can save the home page as a button on your iPhone/iPad so it looks just like an app and loads the website. Here's some directions on how to do it if you aren't familiar with the process.

It would be nice to get PM alerts.
I would also like to have a page in the App that lets you view the front page articles. And access to the recruit bios and highlights. You cannot get these thru the mobile website.

By your logic there should not be a google app, or an amazon app, or lots of other apps. So sorry, but, would prefer an app.

Funny thing is I don't use apps for those. The only thing I could possibly see as beneficial would be push notificationa for pms.
My work has security that doesn't allow me to stay logged in thru websites, but doesn't apply to apps.

fta - while you personally may not use them, my point is that alot of people do use these Apps, and apparently, fimd them useful.
