This ad showed up with the google ad stuff but I haven't visited any tech websites in years so I'm not sure why it showed up.

your browsing history is only part of the way you gets ads. It is also the type of website it is ( a college sports forum in the state of Texas.) and where your I.P. is flagged.

And it will even key off words in the text of the thread you are in. Go try it on the outdoor board or the automotive one, you will get a higher percentage of guns and or cars.
