How do I switch to mobile?

I've been using the mobile view, but switched to desktop. Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find a way to switch back to mobile.

very frustrating that I get locked in desktop view and I can't even hit the back button to return to the mobile view of the page I was on like I used to

some threads, for example threads with lots of pictures, are much easier to view in desktop view where all the pics load at once and at full size. it's a bother to view them in the mobile view. and sometimes I want to be able to view a users profile so I switch to desktop and click the profile link and then go back.

another note:

the little smiley faces that texags replaces ASCII emoticons with no longer display inline in mobile. they pull up the picture links like other pictures do.
