now the mobile site "takes over" the entire mobile safari view I have to switch to portrait and click the top bar to get to the refresh page button. a 2-3 step action for what used to be one.

very frustrating.

and I also have to click the WatchList button and then "view full WatchList" to pull up the full WatchList, which is what I always want to see.


The TexAgs title bar always taking up space is also frustrating on small mobile screens

Autoloading of images is a bad decision for mobile view. How am I supposed to peruse TexAgs at work now? A pron blast from some miscreant is more dangerous now.

that is not nearly as convienent as the built in browser one, and it doesn't seem to be on the forum page which is where I use it mostly anyway.

This is more of an enhancement suggestion rather than an issue, but once I click on the view watchlist icon (the binoculars) I was expecting to be able to click them to make it disappear, but it only disappears when you click on the screen

Clicking the refresh button doesn't refresh the thread it loads a "not authorized, basic subscription required" message

why does clicking "desktop version" on the bottom of the mobile site take us to the desktop homepage instead of just refreshing the current thread?

Along the same lines as the Safari takeover, I have no access to the Safari navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen so I cannot go back, forward, or open a new tab while browsing TexAgs. I have to click an external link or restart Safari.

"Flicking" the screen down exposes the address bar or the browser nav options. This is a new iOS mobile safari convention/option.

Overall good. Two minor gripes so far (chrome on android):

1) the refresh control on the bottom right of threads says a basic subscription is required, even though it isn't

2) if I open a thread in a new tab, the tab no longer has the subject as the title. I really miss this

Same problem here. Can't go back, forward or open a new tab. Very annoying.

it does not, at least on my version of mobile safari (ios7).

"Flicking" works on every website except the new TexAgs for me. I'm locked on TexAgs with no easy way to get to another page or even off of the thread I'm in. That's a bug that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Whatever the latest Safari is on my iPhone 5. Flicking doesn't work, but I just discovered that if I touch the little dark bar at the very top that says texags.com then all the nav buttons pop up, so I'm good now.

Try touching the dark gray bar at the top where it says texags.com and see if that works for you like it does for me.

it's still an extra action that we didn't have to do that makes the site less usable now, so I'm not good with it. the bar doesn't even show up in landscape mode

Good point about landscape mode. I don't usually browse in landscape, but you're correct that it doesn't show up.

I wouldn't say it's an extra action, but it does require you to reach a little farther.

Really like the new mobile site, but one recommendation I have is for the green "unread" indicators on the left side of each thread. Please make them slightly wider, as they're currently barely noticeable.

Also, the flicking thing works great for me on iPhone 5. You can also go back or forward flicking side to side.

I know what the flick down is and what it should do. It doesn't work, though. I've seen it on a few other websites too, and I try my best to stay away from them now.
