Every once in a while, someone will double post a new topic. As long as everyone replies to one of the topics, it is no big deal.

How about if the author of the topic could have a button and either delete the topic or lock the topic as long as nobody else has responded to it yet?

That way if someone double posts, they could go to one of them and delete or lock it before we started to see responses in both duplicate topics.
