It would be nice if you could add a tool tip (hover text) to these symbols to briefly identify their meaning.

Some of them aren't explained on the FAQ page, or anywhere else on the site that I could find. Examples:
  • The Aggie Ring symbol
  • The 12th Man symbol
  • The blue diamond
While I'm on the subject of the FAQ, there is an error. It says
quote:
To the left of the text box in which you post your message, there is an active link entitled "forum code help". Clicking on this link will open a new window in which a page appears that includes how to link URLs, insert images, place text in a quote box and other features such as making text stand out in your post (bold or italics).
There is no such "forum code help" link. I imagine this was removed in the site redesign. I would suggest adding the link back again, but only making it visible when you're in "BBCODE" mode.

I see no reply to this post, and one is needed.

There are really a LOT of symbols undefined. A few others clipped from recent posts:

One poster, at least, shows "Sponsor" in a gray bubble - what's that?
How about the "LT" in a maroon bubble?
What about the gold winecup?
And the Blue Diamond?
And the "Blue Star"?

The gray "S", the maroon "S" and the "L" are clear enough.

Please explain the ones which aren't so clear!

The OPs suggestion regarding fixing the "Forum Code Help" link should be done.

Help?

How about the "LT" in a maroon bubble? - Texas A&M Letterman
What about the gold winecup? - Was for some contest many years ago on Texags, like a pickoff
And the Blue Diamond? - You get one if you buy jeweler from that Aggie jeweler guy
And the "Blue Star"? - Blue star is for rating posts
There is also a bbq pit for a bbq contest many years ago
Hope that helps
