Interesting choice. USF has a decent program but lost its head coach to Florida.

Good luck. He showed great flashes here and then hit a rough patch. Hope he succeeds out west.

I hope all of his credits, even his AP and dual credit ones, transfer, and he graduates in 3 years.

Williams is a Don.

I believe in him.

Seems like a perfect fit if Marcus is a classic country fan.

I look forward to not following his career.

Good luck to him but I find it ironic that once he was removed from the lineup, this basketball team took on a new identity and never looked back. Sometimes things just don't work out and it good for both the player and the team he was on. Hope he's successful there.

If Marcus Williams gets caught in a gambling thing it's going to be my greatest prediction of all time

Just following up. When mentioned I hoped for it but I didn't follow his career.

In Marcus Williams' last 10 games he played, the Aggies Lost 9 of those including 8 in a row.

Won 7 straight after he stopped playing.
11-2 that season after he stopped playing with only losses being SEC championship game and NIT championship game.

During his final 10 games
16-70. 22.8%
3-23. 13% three
27 turnovers
Didn't score double digits once

FWIW, he's been killing it of late for the Dons. So if he's point shaving it's a little more subtle than when he single handedly made us an NIT team.

Where is this prediction documented?
Saw on Twitter sold old screenshots from people that received DMs from him that year asking people if they wanted to make some money.

The best point shavers know they can do damage without it getting noticed as much on the defensive end. Defense and turnovers draw less attention that missing shots. So maybe he got smarter

It's at least documented in some DMs with MarcAg, so he can confirm my prediction if that's what it is.

Found them on Twitter. I'll share them if it's gambling accusations go public.

lol I don't need them shared, just confirmed they exist. His last month with the team and his exit were truly bizarre.

The only thing on the gambling theory that doesn't add up is A&M coaches still followed him, he was still enrolled in A&M after that, and like Lyle Wolf liked on social media his commitment to SanFran. Seems odd to do if he was point shaving or gambling. Now maybe he was and it wasn't revealed at that time and not the reason he left A&M.
