No, we are relying on being a lot more physical at forcing turnovers and out rebounding them. You are counting on outshooting someone?

They average 8 made 3s a game. They have no quality wins. I like our bracket (Mich loses to UCSD). We are 7.5 favorites FWIW

We have 2 big things that can occur in a game that will cause us to lose, barring someone like Wade or Phelps popping off.

First is us just letting someone on the other team make 7 three pointers without ever changing our defense.

The other is the refs not allowing us to crash the boards and get 2nd chance and 3rd chance points and/or calling us a ton of fouls at the same time.

I guess the third is a team just being bigger than us across the board and locking down defensive rebounds

It's weird. They lost to Purdue by 8 at Purdue and to Minnesota by 3 at Minnesota.

I like the whole regional draw. Sure there are teams that can beat the Ags but that's true in any regional. Of the four 1 seeds Auburn is the one that I believe is most vulnerable. Not saying they aren't really, really good because they obviously are .

We "should " handle Yale. They aren't going to keep us off the glass and they haven't seen the quality of defense we will bring to the table.

Henry and Andy are going to bully them. I do worry about free throws.

This feels a lot like Nebraska last year. People thought they'd torch us from deep and we physically abused them on the glass

Completely different teams though. Yale is a physical team and wants to score in the lane and then pick their spots and hit threes

Yale definitely makes me worried. They have an elite shooter, reminds me of Bogdanovic in the NBA and they do what we can't defend well. Aggressive to the rim, movement off ball, great cuts and screens to get people open.

We have to be disciplined on defense and not fall asleep. They will be screening and moving a lot without the ball and do a good job of getting into the paint.

On offense, similar to tu tournament game, others have to hit shots, and we need to hit FTs. We also should feed Payne consistently, but not sure if we will do it that much.

Also for the love of everything do NOT help off of #4 for Yale(Our defense though is also based off help/protecting the paint), he will kill us with any little space, great mid range game and even off the dribble a little bit as well. He had a career high against Auburn last year in the tournament.

This is what scares me. The SEC typically underperforms in this tournament because the refs do not allow us to be as physical as we have been all year. There was a big segment during college game day on this a few weeks back.
