Question for you guys

I live in Denver and I sniped a couple of tickets and got great seats for less than $200 yesterday

however, i did not plan on the arena being sold out and it was, so that was great for the atmosphere but bad for ticket prices

so, my question is when will the tickets from the losers start to flood the market and lower the prices for saturday? right now there has not been a lot of volume to hit the market, meaning that the amount of tickets looks like the same it was before the games yesterday.

does anyone have experience with this? right now im just hitting refresh and trying to find a local ticket broker

Please DM me if you find anything reasonable. So far, secondary is pretty crazy. Doesn't help we're competing for tickets with BYU and Michigan.

Wev'e been looking too, but 0 upsets, being the early game, and having 3 other teams that travel well in the session means high prices unfortunately.

All I heard leading up to the game yesterday was to wait as long as possible and purchase right before tip.

That was bad advice as selection dwindled and prices rose.

Could've had lower level seats for below $200 if I would have bought earlier in the day yesterday (9am) and ended up paying $275 for nose bleeds.

Not sure if this is the exception of the rule for ncaa tournament tickets.

My expectation is prices will dip slightly tomorrow morning and then climb towards tip.

It kinda depends. In this case you have big traveling groups of Wisconsin, BYU and Michigan. Tomorrow's tickets may not drop since they are all looking for seats..

Anyone know where our bench will be? Will sections 102/104 be the Ag bench this round?

I'd bet 3rd parties (profiteers) buy a ton of the tickets to resale and that keeps prices artificially higher than they would be. I am a little surprised prices went up closer to tip.

Besides the schools still there, I'd think greater Denver and the state of Colorado starves for good college basketball in-state, so surely a ton of locals attend.

i talked to a ticket broker today and they said to wait, that there was a lot of tickets available.

we actually went through ticketmaster, and i have watched it all day. there are plenty of lower bowl tickets available but they have not started to lower prices yet. they have come down a little bit, you can get into the lower bowl now for less than $400.

i do not plan to wait until tip off, but i am going to wait until they hit sub $300 for the lower bowl.

i am a local, but i happen to be an ag

i think this particular ticket is a combination of a few things

the first is that the BYU cougars are in this pod. SLC is only a quick flight away and not even that bad of a drive. in addition, Denver is home to a bunch of BYU people.

I actually think there are a lot of Aggies here. I am not too active in the local club, but I get their bulletins and they seem pretty active especially with the younger crowd.

As far as local attendance, i am not so sure. I didnt see a lot of unaffiliated people wednesday, and really people care about 2 things here. 1 is the broncos and the other is the avalanche. I think the nuggets are pretty popular when they are good. coors field is just the largest bar in the world, the rockies are terrible.

but, i do think there is something special about this pod because the other pods, it is not as hard of a ticket. i am going to be there tomorrow, but i am trying to save $100 per ticket by waiting.

Hopefully whoever has TMF tickets in section 104, Row 5, seats 9-14 actually shows up today. Those seats were unoccupied Thursday. Good for my legroom but bad bull

Hopefully tthe Ags that sold their seats in our section to non-Ags have taken the 5 minutes to actually find an Aggie for those seats. Lots of people sold tickets. Bad bull.

Didn't wait till the last minute this time - bought tickets about 1 hour ago. Settled on tickets in section 108 for $350.

Decided they aren't getting much better than that.

I waited and waited and saw lower bowl at 350 and waited and ended up getting lower bowl 380. More than I wanted to spend but looks like 350 was the bottom

Agree it's byu driving the demand. Looks like they are the largest contingent here.

Michigan travels for their basketball team. I went to the Ft Myers classic over Thanksgiving and the gym was full of Michigan fans.
