Here's a sympathy reply you sad sack loser.
Eventually you get tired of the underperformance and quit being invested in the success of Aggie sports. Or every year you stay invested and are disappointed…rinse and repeat…the definition of insanity.
I still think A&M could be a gymnastics powerhouse if we drop just one of the big 3. Drop 2 and we'd be unstoppable.
Poor Aggies…. pay more, for less!
Heh, just the Ags following an age old Aggie tradition, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Chill out folks.
Maybe because a lot of our fans have a pathetic loser mentality it results in the athletic program we deserve.

Yes. Me on my own. Sure. If everyone demands more maybe our AD realizes this spiral of overspending for mediocrity isn't good enough. Quit accepting it. We've done it y'all's way for 100 years and we haven't done one damn thing in the big 3. We always underachieve and never win big games. Most pathetic AD to resources ratio in America
Hey now. Trev is a top 5 paid AD. Let's not start expecting top 5 results in sports. He took this job because he wanted to be part of a long line of ADs that paid exceptionally well, underperform, and usually last much longer than they should.
Trev is here to get the books right. Compete and win? Nah! He's gotta get the balance sheet right. TAMU Athletics is the equivalent of the Arizona Cardinals.

It was very disappointing how we managed to blow a 10-point lead with 13:17 left and lose by 12 points.

It's not an all or nothing thing. You can follow and root for the team. Just don't get so worked up over it when they lose. After so many years of futility, we should all come to expect it such that it. That way, it will be a really pleasant surprise if we ever do win something in one of the men's big 3 sports.

Same crap over and over. I went fishing this afternoon instead of watching live. This game had little upside. If we won, cool we can play again next weekend. But if we choke, then it was a waste of time and effort. That's where I am with Aggie sports, just barely care anymore after years of failure. Every sport is a perpetual disappointment. Sucks to be us.

Pretty much. At this point in my life I'll just accept a surprise if we win anything. I'm not getting my hopes up for any Aggie team in any sport ever again.
I have been convinced for a decade plus that nothing will ever change until our idiot boosters die off and let people who don't pretend the college sports landscape is still stuck in 1985 take over.
When you think about it, this was another perfect sports year for our boosters/admin:
- Football had a mediocre year with no good wins and embarrassing, consecutive losses in November, including the bowl game. A "close" loss to tu that the boosters can blame on the refs and say we'll get 'em next year.
- Basketball is the redheaded stepchild of athletics and will always be until we get new boosters who don't use religion as their primary requirement for hiring a coach. Typical Buzz season where there is no consistency and no scoring plan whatsoever. Embarrassing losses to tu that are close enough for our boosters to blame the refs and say we'll get 'em next year.
- Baseball choked because the coach was stolen away in a secret backdoor deal with tu, and the team is a major dumpster fire. But it's all tu's fault they didn't do their due diligence in finding a new coach.
I don't follow any of the other sports but I know WBB is also an embarrassment the last few years. Nothing is ever going to change until our boosters stop blaming Texas for everything and look in the mirror and admit they have no knowledge of modern day college athletics.

Biggest choking sports program in all of college sports. Football, basketball, baseball all suck with the best resources in the country. 85 years since the last championship in football. Never in basketball. Never in baseball. Total joke.
